Budimex has torn up its contract with Warsaw city council for the reconstruction project of the Saski Palace. According to the contract, the firm had to carry out certain preparatory work and planning, as well as the construction work. A lack of ability to do this regarding the cellar, which has a conservation order, is the reason for the termination of the contract. This action will not lead to any financial penalties, since it is not covered under the Public Procurements Act.
