Czech-Slovak private equity group Penta Investments has bought 4-ha of land in central Bratislava for SKK 1.2 bln (more than EUR 31 mln). This is currently the site of old industrial and office buildings. The property changed hands after Centrade – a subsidiary of Penta – outbid the competition at an auction organized by the previous owners, Bratislavska Teplarenska. Penta has been active in the real estate sector since 2005. In the next four years, the group intends to invest more than EUR 300 mln in properties.
